Christmas came early for this sweet family.
Baby Adeline Mae arrived in late November. I was so honored to be invited into my friends' home so shortly after Adeline's birth to document their first moments as a new family. My dear friend Alicia is a talented decorator. Despite just having given birth, her home was beautifully decked out for Christmas and so warm and inviting.
The biggest treat of all was watching their eldest daughter Alina take on the role of "big sis". She was so gentle, sweet, and compassionate. I'll never forget the way she asked to hold Baby Adeline, how she squealed with delight when I'd prompt her to smile, and how she insisted that her little sister did indeed want to share a lollipop with her!
